I think this problem is great. The mathematizing is challenging here; even the case of $$ P(\theta) $$ for fixed $$ \theta $$ is a challenge. Once that’s done, the rest of the problem isn’t that hard, though one has to be careful about the domain of $$ \theta $$ and how it changes the sign of $$ P(\theta) $$.
